April with the Family in Tuscany

What a great place to stay Tenuta Il Cicalino is a great place for active, relaxing or mixed type of holiday. With a group of mountainbikers we were staying in an amaizing stone house Lame. A bit away from the main building it offered just enough privacy for the group but still all comfort we needed. A big bike storage (can be used also for other equipment) was precious. Not mentioning our private swimming pool out in a big green garden. The house is spacious and nicely decorated and has a big focus on sustainability. Breakfast in the restaurant was superb, so was the dinner. The stuff was nice, friendly and always willing to help. And there are great mountainbiking trails all around the property.

Wir kommen nun seit 4 Jahren und fühlen uns zu Hause, geborgen, begleitet … Danke für ALLES und vorallem für das, was zwischen und mit und in allem ist: Euer Herz und Eure Liebe für Eure Gäste und deren Bedürfnisse, Freude, Wohlempfinden. Aus privaten Gründen machen wir 2024 eine Pause und freuen uns heute schon auf 2025 wenn wir wieder singend und tanzend diesen schönen Platz genießen werden. Gerne wieder Sehr saubere und gut ausgerüstete Unterkunft (Lame 1) und gepflegte Anlage, ruhig, schöner Pool, Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten ideai, toll für Joggen, Biken, Spazieren und Geniessen, 30 Minuten bis ans Meer. Waren 1 Woche da und würden wieder kommen.

Real Toscana style Beautiful place with many options of activities. Great location for many trips around. Amazing placd for relax as well. Clean and cozy all around. Also Cheff de la cuisine was very friendly and all staff members were so kind and professionals.

Stile nel bosco Una Tenuta elegante e ben curata. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana nelle camere ai Lecci, apprezzando la cura delle camere, l’attenzione al servizio e la pulizia nel suo insieme. La tenuta è molto grande e l’attenzione ai dettagli non è sempre possibile, nel complesso però il soggiorno è stato molto soddisfacente, anche se la ristorazione (dalla colazione alla cena), dovrebbe essere curata meglio. Negli anni la tenuta si è ampliata e trasformata, la struttura è oggi frequentata prevalentemente da turisti stranieri e se una pecca vogliamo far emergere, è proprio la differenza di abitudini e di ricercatezza tra noi e loro. Pochi piccoli passi per arrivare alla perfezione, ma alla fine della trasformazione, sarà un posto incantevole. Un plauso all’ambientazione del ristorante che dovrebbe trovare analoga rappresentazione in cucina.

Ancora e poi ancora Il soggiorno presso la Tenuta “Il Cicalino” è un’esperienza che porto nel cuore per la qualità di tutti i servizi, la bellezza del contesto e della struttura, il silenzio e la tranquillità anche in pieno agosto. Abbiamo alternato giornate di relax con tutti i comfort all’interno della struttura a escursioni in giornata verso città d’arte, spiagge, parchi e anche a Roma. Un encomio particolare alle persone che ci lavorano per la professionalità e il sorriso!

Tolle Unterkunft in der Toskana Sehr schöne Unterkunft im Herzen der Toskana. Personal nett. Alles sauber und die Anlage ist sehr hochwertig und gepflegt. Essen sehr gut aber leider nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Weg zum nächsten Strand 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Amazing Tuscan experience Perfect place for smart working, relax and full immersion in nature and good food. We particularly appreciated a home made breakfast and its amazing scrambled eggs, the atmosphere and the room coziness. It is a hidden gem if you want to live the true Tuscan holiday experience, surrounded by the cypresses and the sweet Tuscan hills. Would definitely go back

Simply the best! We had a wonderful stay, Location is just exceptionnal, view on the tuscan landscapes and on Massa Marittima is breathtaking. Whole location is very flowery, comodities are built in this tuscan style everybody dream of and are very clean. Food and service are definitely their highlights: the menu is quite small which is a good point, it means it’s really homemade and quite frankly, it was delicious! Special shot out to the « il coniglio », we had a blast enjoying this meal. You should definitely try the breakfast as you can not not find something that water your mouth and all products were oh so fresh. We had honestly one of the best holidays of our lives at Tenuta il Cicalino even thought we got quite unlucky with our car during our stay. We’d like to adress a huge ‘thank you!’ to the entire hotel staff, especially Gianna from the reception who helped us to communicate with the car repair shop. In general, absolutely everybody in the staff was so welcoming with our little family, from the waiters to the clearing ladies and even the gardeners and the housekeeper. We felt like home and they were all so professional and helpful. Only suggestion: please replace the door lock in Italia 3, something’s off with the key.

The best holiday ever We have spent one week in this beautiful podere. It has everything you can think of-amazing accommodation, wonderful city Massa Maritima just 10 minutes drive and nearby sea-1/2 to hour drive. Surrounded by vineyards you will find yourself living in one of very nicely and gently reconstructed houses (I specificaly loved exposed construction details), which share the pool area. There is also range of possibilities in dining sphere that this podere offers. You can have breakfast, lunch and even dinner. The staff is extremely friendly offering you the best they can or helping you with anything you need (e.g. finding for our child pony riding). I would say better holiday than in this podere I cannot imagine and we will definetely visit it again!
